MAĊA is a creative alias that Molly developed in 2022, based on the old Irish spelling of the goddess ‘Macha.’ Alongside her band, MAĊA played a number of gigs around Dublin in 2022/23, including a support slot for the band Speakers at Whelan’s.

'Prologue/Ghost' presents a fusion of soulful rock and synth melodies, aiming to encapsulate the raw energy of a live performance.
The song delves into the theme of carrying one's cultural heritage with them wherever life takes them. Drawing inspiration from improvisations during live renditions, the track's introductory segment and the richly layered vocals in the chorus symbolise the enduring presence of both collective and personal ancestral narratives.

Nightmare
